I’m Joanne, an Advanced Aesthetic Practitioner and Skin Expert based in Great Harwood, near Blackburn.

 

I specialise in natural, confidence-boosting treatments for women aged 30+, with a particular understanding of the changes that come with perimenopause and menopause. Having experienced this stage of life myself, I know how much skin, confidence and self-image can shift during these years, often in ways we’re not prepared for.

 

My approach is gentle, honest and consultation-led. I don’t believe in rushing decisions or pushing treatments. Instead, I take time to listen, explain options clearly and help you choose what feels right for you;  whether that’s anti-wrinkle injections, skin boosters, microneedling or simply advice and reassurance.

 

Before moving into aesthetics, I worked in education, and that background still shapes how I practise today. I value patience, clear communication and creating a space where you feel comfortable asking questions. Many of my clients arrive feeling unsure or nervous, and my role is to make you feel informed, supported and at ease.

 

My clinic is a calm, welcoming space above Solo Hairdressers in Great Harwood — private, discreet and designed to feel relaxed rather than clinical.
